With a summer like the one we had this year no wonder I haven’t posted a single photo…
At the start of September I went for a 3 days walk around from Skibbereen to Adrigole: the weather was with me, I couldn’t have been more blessed, and here is the proof.
Day one: from Aghadown do Bantry
Day 2 from Bantry to Glengarriff – via N71, back roads and a bit on the Beara Way
Day 3 spent in Glengarriff, visiting Gairinish Island and the woods. Day 4 Glengarriff to Adrigole
Nice gateway – I like the stonework and the wooden sculptures:
Abandoned farmhouse; would be a great restauration project.
Bantry bay and town
Along the N71, Ballylickey:
Somewhere after Snave, on the Beara Way
From the highest point of the day – Beara Way
The pool tiles
Not a great picture but need to remember the brickwork…
These Dalhias are the largest I have ever seen:
And this is the last mile…
My destination was Passaddhi, not far from the last picture (and if you want to see photos of Passaddhi just click on the link above)
